Women in Christian Leadership is Committed to Developing Servant Leaders

As believers, we have an enormous advantage in that we know Jesus and are empowered by the Holy Spirit for our calling. He has set an example of servant leadership through the washing of the disciples' feet. Women in Christian Leadership's Virtual Roundtables and Coffee & Conversations provide opportunities for sister-to-sister encouragement. 

"Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Kimberley Porter Memorial Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Overview

The Kimberley Porter Scholarship is a way to keep the memory of the daughter of Jeanne and Mike Porter alive, while honoring and contributing to the educational and/or membership needs of students, leaders, and innovators of Women in Christian Leadership. 

Kim was passionate about helping others in need. Throughout her life her work included the Boys and Girls Club along with compassionate care and support of others when facing life-impacting situations. Our prayer is that this scholarship fund will have an impact on women through encouragement, educational opportunities, and learning to live authentically through the love of Christ. We hope this fund will reflect on how an individual journey of one can leave an indelible mark on others and the world. Offering women, a hand up, not a handout.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must demonstrate financial need and must eligibility requirements below.

GRADE LEVEL

Graduating H.S. Senior (Girl)

Criteria

Must have a 2.5gpa

Must exhibit leadership qualities.
